Erin became an Occupational Therapist after completing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California and her Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science from the University of California, Los Angeles before that. She worked at the Rehabilitation Institute of Santa Barbara (now Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital) where her clinical focus was on patients with stroke and/or brain injury, helping them to regain their functional independence. Both of these particular populations often have cognitive impairments as well as physical challenges.
