Carolyn Webb-Dobson received her Music Therapy degree from Sam Houston State University in 1997. She has practiced in a variety of populations including labor and delivery, autism spectrum disorders, and residential treatment. She has spent the last five years in the Dallas area focusing on older adults with neurologic impairments, either due to disease or injury. Carolyn has a great passion for working with the senior population, especially those with dementia. She created music therapy programs for individual skilled nursing and assisted living communities with dementia care. After more intense study, she became a Fellow of the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy and went on to develop NMT programs for larger acute rehab health care companies in the DFW area, specifically to address post-stroke and dementia concerns. Since moving to the Santa Barbara area, she has become very involved as a volunteer with the Central Coast Alzheimer’s Association. Carolyn brings a creative approach to CFIT and is excited to be part of the team.
